Nithik’s Kitchen is run by an entrepreneurial couple Preeti & Vikram, who have roots and origins in Chettinad – reputed for its unique cookery, cuisine, architectural heritage and culture.
Nithik’s Kitchen is named after the son of chef Vikram and his wife Preeti. Their restaurant was started in 2013 and has gradually grown larger with the loyal support of local customers.
Our goal is to showcase the most authentic version of Chettinad cuisine. Handpicked delicacies from different parts of southern India heighten the authenticity of our food, taking your taste buds on a culinary journey.
Chettinad cuisine is one of the most renowned cuisines of South India. Chef Vikram hails from a Chettinad family where food is celebrated every single day. Some of our recipes have been passed down from previous generations. Right from early age, Vikram was eager to learn the secret behind traditional dishes, he wanted everyone else to have the same savory experience he had growing up. This naturally led him towards the path of becoming a professional chef. With a hotel management degree and 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, Chef Vikram is the best choice of host for your night out.
Vikram’s wife, Preeti, is the creative mind behind Nithik’s Kitchen. She has been the backbone of business operations. Preeti designs artistic plating for each dish, with a keen eye for elevating your dining experience – eat with all your senses!
